This great material is the industry standard as the perfect subtitution for bucktail.
The "hair" is about 3" - 4" long. It has a sparkle essence built into the fibers. The fibers are straight, long, and soft - easy to tie with.
Rainy's Premium Craft Fur is economical, easy to tie with, readily works on most streamer flies and withstands toothy predators better than natural fibers.
Take a typical bunch and the fibre lengths are uneven, tie it in and the bunch automatically has taper. The texture is very soft and lacks the tangle seen in other wannabe products.
The dimensions of the backing mat is about 5" x 5" wide, folded in half within the package.
